C&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;on appelle le branding. Il pr\u00e9c\u00e8de et conditionne toute la communication d&rsquo;un artiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un artiste qui travaille ses visuels sans avoir pos\u00e9 ses bases de branding risque de produire quelque chose de coh\u00e9rent esth\u00e9tiquement mais d\u00e9connect\u00e9 de sa musique et de son public. Le branding est le filtre \u00e0 partir duquel toutes les d\u00e9cisions cr\u00e9atives et \u00e9ditoriales deviennent lisibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ce que contient un travail de branding<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Un travail de branding r\u00e9pond \u00e0 plusieurs questions fondamentales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qui suis-je en tant qu&rsquo;artiste ?<\/strong>&nbsp;Pas la biographie, mais l&rsquo;essence : ce que la musique exprime, l&rsquo;angle depuis lequel on per\u00e7oit le monde, ce qui rend le projet unique. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;identifier quelques mots-cl\u00e9s qui caract\u00e9risent le projet et qui serviront de boussole pour toutes les d\u00e9cisions suivantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quelles sont mes valeurs ?<\/strong>&nbsp;Ce en quoi l&rsquo;artiste croit profond\u00e9ment, ce qu&rsquo;il d\u00e9fend, ce contre quoi il se positionne. Ces valeurs ne sont pas des slogans : elles guident chaque choix cr\u00e9atif et \u00e9ditorial dans la dur\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quel est mon univers narratif ?<\/strong>&nbsp;Le cadre dans lequel se d\u00e9ploie l&rsquo;histoire de l&rsquo;artiste : une atmosph\u00e8re, une tension entre des contraires, un rapport au temps et \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9motion. Cet univers peut s&rsquo;\u00e9tendre sur plusieurs projets et plusieurs ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00c0 qui je m&rsquo;adresse ?<\/strong>&nbsp;Le branding implique de d\u00e9finir pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment sa cible, pas seulement sur le plan d\u00e9mographique, mais sur le plan \u00e9motionnel : quel type de personne, quel rapport \u00e0 la musique, quels d\u00e9sirs, quelle vision du monde. Plus la d\u00e9finition est pr\u00e9cise, plus la connexion avec la communaut\u00e9 est profonde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contre quoi je me positionne ?<\/strong>&nbsp;Se d\u00e9finir en opposition \u00e0 quelque chose est souvent aussi structurant que de se d\u00e9finir pour quelque chose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi le branding pr\u00e9c\u00e8de l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 visuelle<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Avant de travailler l&rsquo;image, il faut r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 une question fondamentale : quelle est l&rsquo;histoire que l&rsquo;on veut raconter ? Quel univers veut-on transmettre ? Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;identifier quelques mots-cl\u00e9s qui caract\u00e9risent le projet, \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s \u00e0 la musique produite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces mots-cl\u00e9s deviennent ensuite le point de d\u00e9part de l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 visuelle : ils guident le choix d&rsquo;un photographe, d&rsquo;une typographie, d&rsquo;un ton de prise de parole, d&rsquo;un style de clips. Sans ce travail pr\u00e9alable, les choix restent subjectifs et peinent \u00e0 former un ensemble coh\u00e9rent dans le temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Point de vigilance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Le branding n&rsquo;est pas r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux artistes sign\u00e9s ou aux projets \u00e0 gros budget. C&rsquo;est un travail que tout artiste ind\u00e9pendant peut mener d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de son d\u00e9veloppement. Plus il est pos\u00e9 t\u00f4t, plus il oriente efficacement les d\u00e9cisions cr\u00e9atives et de communication.
